Mycometer surface Fungi

Examples of interpretation

Mycometer surface Fungi is a method for measuring the level of mold on surfaces.

Results are divided into 3 interpretation categories: A, B and C, derived from the investigation of surfaces in non-problem buildings on visual clean surfaces and on dusty/dirty surfaces. When results are above what is found in dusty/dirty surface it is due to mold growthy on the surface.

The Mycometer surface Fungi value is used for determining whether a surface have mold growth and to determine whether a surface that contained mold growth has been successfully cleaned.

Example:

The data sheet shows results taken from surfaces in a basement after a water leak and samples on first floor in a bedroom and the kitchen due to visual signs of mold growth.

The category C in sample 1 and 3 shows mold growth. No mold growth on the basement wall or kitchen wall.

Case 2 shows results taken for post remediation verification on surface after cleaning on concrete floor in bedroom and bedroom wall. Both samples showing a successful cleaning of surfaces (PRV).
