None of the chemicals used in the Mycometer® test pose a health risk.

However, both the Developer and the Substrate are alkaline (approximately pH 11).
If they come into contact with your eyes, it is important to immediately rinse your eyes with running water for at least 5 minutes.

After use, the chemistry can be discarded by pouring it directly into the sink.
